Great article on Kyrie and his father. Plus I found out in it that Kyrie and I have the same birthday! Pretty sure that means we are both destined for greatness.
The Dodos—Good
The drumming on this album is so good, and Neko Case sings backup on a bunch of songs. I would definitely recommend getting the album.
Caveman—Decide
I know next to nothing about this band, but have really been digging this song.
Beach Fossils—Face It
Grass Widow—Give Me Shapes
Fleet Foxes—Helplessness Blues
If I know only one thing, it’s that everything that I see
of the world outside is so inconceivable often I barely can speak
Yeah I’m tongue-tied and dizzy and I can’t keep it to myself
What good is it to sing helplessness blues, why should I wait for anyone else

Iron & Wine— Half Moon
Truthfully I haven’t listened much to Iron & Wine since circa 2004 when Our Endless Numbered Days came out, but I have listened to this song at least 15 times this week. It is off of the upcoming Kiss Each Other Clean which will be released on Jan. 25th. This is the perfect song for cold winter nights, and I really hope the rest of the album will be just as good.

Walking through Lincoln Park last night to get to a surprise party. I sincerely love winter.
